So you’d like to become a member? Thank you – we’ve designed three types of membership – which, we think, reflect different degrees of interest/contact and required knowledge of WOM. We’ll tweak it to make it optimal – but in a world full of e-mails from communities we’re keen to provide you the right level of contact with what you need.
There is WOF, WHO and WOS!!!
WOF – Word of Mouth Foundation Members
These are high involvement, high contribution members. This is the Inner Sanctum of Marketing people in Australia and New Zealand and Membership is strictly by invitation only. The first 100 WOF members will receive lifelong membership of WOMANZ.
Some guidelines - You’ll be a person who in an organisation actively is looking for more meaningful/better value ways to communicate with your customers. Your category will be very innovative irrespective of size. Or you’ll be a small-medium size company looking at alternative ways to expand internationally.
You will be invited (to join the website) via receipt of a pass code circulating across the Tasman. The pass code is written in the inside cover of 10 WOM books. In order to be able to apply for WOF Membership you will need to email us:
• The pass code and how long the book has been in your possession (this can’t be more then 3 weeks)
• The name of the person you received the book from
• Your own summary and opinion of the book
• The name of the person you have passed the book on to next
The transmission of the growth and geographic tracking of this will be shown on the WOMANZ site – as this in itself will be a case study!!!
Benefits:
• Discounted Access to WOM seminar workshops
• Ability to participate in exclusive WOMANZ Mastermind groups
• Life Access to the WOM Resource Centre
• Life Access to VOX (WOMANZ) monthly newsletter*
• First offer tickets to the inaugural WOMANZ event in 2009
WOH – Word of Mouth Honoury Members
These are medium-high involvement, medium contribution members. Join before 1 May and you will receive six months free membership.
Some guidelines - You’ll be a person who is personally connected to the idea of WOM – however your organisation is open but cautious to new approaches. You’ll be looking to assess the risks/benefit and identify if WOM is appropriate or not. You are more likely to work in a large/medium size corporate in a mature market.
You will either be invited by receiving the verbal pass code or you will be able to apply for WOH membership by submitting an article on your view on WOM Marketing in Australia and New Zealand. Once your contribution has been been accepted to the WOM reference centre (a communal resource made by…for the…) you can become a WOH member.
Benefits:
• Access to the WOM Resource Centre for a year
• Free Access to VOX (WOMANZ) monthly newsletter
• Access to WOM seminar workshops
• Access to the inaugural WOMANZ event 2009
WOS – Word of Mouth Standard Membership
This is for medium involvement, low contribution members. You will receive free access to the newsletter for three months to assess its use for you. After that time you can chose to pay for WOS membership.
Some guidelines – You’ll be a person who is curious and likes to keep up with developments in marketing in the most efficient, time efficient way possible. You know WOM has a role to play and you’d like to champion it – however you know you need to educate the organisation as to the value of it.
After the three month trial you can chose to pay for WOS membership.
Benefits:
• Paid Access to WOM Resource Centre
• Free Access to VOX (WOMANZ) – monthly newsletter
• Obviously the newsletter will be made available in an audio format, I mean this is WOMANZ after all!!!
